Rich was passionate about helping threatened nature, habitats and our planet, his life was dedicated to making a difference and he certainly did just that. This is a great project that Rich would've loved supporting. We are all going to sorely miss having him in the McGill house. Such a caring, lovely guy. On a personal note, I've lost one of my closest friends and birding pals way too early, all of his birding friends will no doubt be giving a nod and smile to Rich at the next notable sighting. Love you mate, thanks for all those wonderful laughter filled moments in the field or wherever we were (as he called me) 'MJM' x.
